Wear protection for agricultural equipment
Maximize the service life of your tillage tools.
Agricultural equipment such as cultivators or disc harrows for soil cultivation are exposed to extreme loads. Signs of wear therefore occur quickly, which can lead to frequent maintenance and high costs. But with our innovative laser cladding process, this problem is a thing of the past.
The solution: laser cladding with tungsten carbide
Our laser cladding process significantly increases the service life of your tools. By using tungsten carbide as a powder additive, a material with an extreme hardness of up to 2,500 HV and high abrasion resistance, your tools are optimally protected. This process is not only efficient and reproducible, but also ideal for series and individual parts.
The process in detail:
- Process: Laser cladding with powder
- Track width: 4 mm
- Track height: 1.0 mm
- Base material: 27MnB5 / 1.5529
- Filler material: Tungsten carbide with a hardness of 2,500 HV
- Purpose: Wear protection
The success: Longer service life thanks to hard metal layers
The highly stable tungsten carbide layers produced by our process effectively protect your tillage tools against abrasion, impacts and shocks. This significantly extends the service life of your equipment and reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
